JNF Consulting Services B.V. is a Dutch consulting company and provides consulting services to industry, governments and other organizations in a wide range of markets. The company gives strategic advice on the development and implementation of fumigation alternatives for post harvest pest control and soil uses as alternative for toxic chemicals like Methyl Bromide and Phosphine. Besides this the company is also specialized in the development and implementation of Methyl Bromide national reduction programs

Transferring knowledge of environment friendly fumigation techniques and facilities to governments, (non) profit organizations, industry and other related parties is an important goal of the organisation. This is achieved through (international) project management, the implementation of national reduction projects, production of technical and advisory reports, the publishing of research results and organizing training programs at national and international levels.

The consultants of the consulting company have all extensive knowledge of pest control management and non chemical fumigation alternatives in the field of Controlled Atmosphere and Heattreatment technology that can be implemented in both industrialised countries as well as developing (article 5.) countries. Besides this, the consultants have substantial experience in the development of systems and facilities to apply these non-chemical fumigation alternatives for post harvest protection.

Another important expertise of the consulting company includes the advise, development and implementation of non-chemical Quarantine and Pre-shipment technologies in accordance with national and international regulations.

The consortium is currently expanding her activities to cover organic alternatives for soil uses. An important project in Ghana is started to produce an alternative substrate of cocoapeat (from coconut) made for soil uses as alternative for chemicals like Methyl Bromide. The alternative substrate will be a low-cost available alternative for soil uses in developing countries and will be and efficient alternative to reduce the use of chemicals like Methyl Bromide for soil uses.
